How do I create a permalink for articles in Nexis Uni?

Answer

If you are off campus:

When you are in the article, click the Link Hyperlink icon SVG Vector & PNG ... link image next to the title of the article (see photo) to get the permalink. When you mouse over it, it will say "Link to this Page." Copy and paste this link to save it.

If you are on campus:

When you are in the article, click the Link Hyperlink icon SVG Vector & PNG ... link image next to the title of the article (see photo above) to get the permalink to save the article. Copy the link; then add this prefix to the beginning of the URL:  https://frederick.idm.oclc.org/login?url=

So, a link from Nexis might look like this once you have added the prefix:

https://frederick.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://advance.lexis.com/api/permalink/3afb31a9-6947-4510-8413-5c9441aeb36b/?context=1519360&identityprofileid=XS29C571706

If your link doesn't work, try pasting the combined URL into an app like Notepad, copying it,  and then pasting it into your browser.

If you need any assistance, contact the Library staff.
