Can I use Honorlock in the Learning Commons?

I need to take a test using Honorlock. Does the Learning Commons have computers I can use?

Answer

Yes! The Learning Commons has 5 laptops available that include Honorlock. If you need to use one of our laptops to take a test using Honorlock, please note the following:

  • You will need to present your physical Student ID to borrow a laptop.
  • Laptops can only be used in the Learning Commons space.
  • Group project rooms should not be used for test taking. The quiet study area or other public spaces are available.
  • Learning Commons staff are not able to troubleshoot issues with connecting to Honorlock or accessing a test.
  • All test will need to be finished 5 minutes before the Learning Commons closes. Patrons will not be able to stay in the Learning Commons past closing to finish a test.

To ensure a laptop will be available:

  • On the day you plan to take the test call the front desk at 301-846-2444
  • Provide your name and ask for a laptop to be put on hold for you
  • Laptops will only be held until the end of the day
