Does the college have access to newspaper articles?

Can I get access to newspapers like the Washington Post and New York Times?

Answer

Current Access:

We provide current access to the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and Baltimore Sun through the National Newspapers (ProQuest) database.

Search Tip: You can look for articles from these newspapers in Google, and then put the first few words from the title of an article you want to read in the National Newspapers search box.

If you would like to browse the articles published today, follow the step-by-step directions attached to this FAQ.

Historical Access (1851 - 2003)

We also provide access to the New York Times Historical Edition

For both of these databases, you will have to login if you are off-campus, using your Blackboard login ID (students) or your network ID (faculty and staff).
