What technology and rooms are available in the Learning Commons, and what are their policies for use?

Answer

The Learning Commons has six Group Project Rooms that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Although individuals and pairs may use the rooms, groups of three or more have priority use.

All rooms include white boards. Five of the rooms include projectors with laptop connections.

Rooms are not soundproof. Be aware that sound will travel between rooms and into the main space.

A Digital Makerspace is also available to FCC students, staff, and faculty with access to computers, software, and other digital technologies that support their educational or personal creative goals and endeavors.

In order to use the Makerspace, one must be a current FCC student, faculty member, or staff member, and must present an FCC ID.

Please see our full policy regarding use of the Makerspace.
